deck moldings of conservative production shop scantlings as the primary structures, with FRP hull pans and transverse bulkheads glassed in as stiffeners. Rolled (replacement) gelcoat
nonskid on the weather surfaces of the deck molding. The hull and deck moldings are screwed
or bolted together through the slotted aluminum toerail and their overlapping edge flanges.
Lead ballast casting, glassed in forward in the keel cavity. The bronze through-hulls are
closed by bronze or nylon sea-valves, and the FRP shaft ports are sealed by packing glands,
with a sacrificial anode on the prop shaft. Anti-fouling paint on the underbody and original
gelcoat finish on the topsides.
Bow and stern pulpits, single lifelines in side
stanchions with P & S boarding gates, 4-bolt
mooring cleats, and ground tackle storage at
the bow.
Mast & Standing Rigging:
Masthead cutter rig. White-painted aluminum
mast stepped through the cabin top (with
partners boot) to the keel. Standing rigging is
stainless steel 1x19 wire with swaged
terminals and turnbuckles at the deck end,
attached to stainless bar stock chainplates
bolted through the hull skin for the stays, into
hanging knees for the cap shrouds, and the
cabin sides for the lower shrouds. The rigging
schedule includes a head stay, forestay, back
stay, cap shrouds to the masthead through the
single set of aluminum spreaders, and forward and aft lower shrouds to the
spreader bases.
Sails & Running Rigging:
Aluminum boom with fixed gooseneck, boom
vang, and external jiffy reefing gear. Dacron
mainsail with 2 reefs, sheeted from the boom
end to the taffrail traveler via a 4:1 tackle in a
cam cleat block. Recent mainsail cover. Hankon
dacron Yankee for the headstay with recent
turtle, and a hank-on, reefable dacron staysail,
with recent turtle, sheeting to the cockpit
coaming winches via sidedeck cars.
Asymetrical nylon cruising spinnaker/reacher
with adjustable pole. 3 Dacron-braid internal
halyards led to winches on the mast face.
Engine: [The buyer may arrange a separate engine inspection by a specialist of his
choice to be reported directly to him rather than through the valuation surveyor.]

(reported by the owner as being
recently rebuilt by Mack Boring)
horizontal, naturally-aspirated, 1-

the exit flange in the transom. Fuel is supplied from a deck-filled, welded
aluminum, 20-gallon bilge tank.

recently rebuilt by Mack Boring) with shaft coupling, 1" stainless shaft, FRP
shaft log with compression seal at the inside end and Cutless bearing at the
outside end, turning a 3-blade prop of un-marked dimensions, in the keel
