In 2008 the port engine started smoking more than starboard. The problem was diagnosed as water intrusion caused by fresh water entering through an air filter. The boat owner went the extra mile and had both engines rebuilt by Gregory Poole, the authorized Caterpillar dealer. Cost of rebuilds was approximately $50,000-. No corners were cut period. Engines had approximately 710 hours when rebuilt in 2008. Engines currently have around 475 hours since being rebuilt. Both engines run like a clock. Oils and filters have been changed annually or every 100 hours, whichever came first. All service records will be provided to a prospective buyer with an accepted offer.

This boat was built by Sea Ray for a Brunswick Corporation executive. Since Brunswick owns Sea Ray the boat was built with lots of TLC and some custom features not found on other 410 Sea Ray Sundancers. She has a fold down upper bunk in the mid cabin which is a great feature for a family with children. Instead of the standard Westebeke generator she has an upgraded Kohler generator. MarineMax installed a bow thruster for the current owner before he took delivery. This boat is super clean and super loaded. She is a no excuses boat that any buyer will be proud to own!!
